Runneth
What it is
Kite is your AI marketer in Slack. It researches your business, builds a growth strategy, and ships the work that brings you new customers.
Runneth is Motion's AI marketing brain: an always-on analyst and operator on a dedicated cloud machine, shared by your team in Slack, that reads your ad accounts and runs the routines you teach it.¹
Who it's for
Companies that need marketing handled, whether that's one founder or a whole team, across every channel that brings in customers.
Marketing teams running paid social on Meta and TikTok, working together. Runneth's own guidance is that it doesn't fit a solo marketer yet, and it's sold to Motion customers.²
What it knows on day one
Kite's deep analysis of your business: site, social, the ads you're running, search rankings, AI answers, competitors, and brand. It records your positioning, ideal customer, pricing, brand voice, and visual identity before the first plan. The marketing expertise is built in.
Your ad data, pre-loaded during guided setup, with every creative you've run watched and tagged, plus Motion's dataset of millions of tagged ads and its creator index. Your standards, naming conventions, SOPs, and meeting transcripts are yours to teach it.³
Who initiates work
Kite, or anyone on your team. Once an hour it compares what's new in your Slack with the marketing goals you've set, and it watches your site analytics, search rankings, and AI visibility for the next opportunity. Give it a goal or a task any time.
You do. Ask it in Slack, or set up a routine on a schedule: a daily recap, a weekly competitor scan, a QA check every 30 minutes. Alerts flag an ad that hits its testing budget or CAC target.⁴
Work completed
Pages live on the site Kite builds and hosts, or on your Webflow, Contentful, Storyblok, Sanity, or Payload site, with the URL. Email campaigns sent from a Kite-managed address. Lead lists built and scored. Social posts live through your connected accounts. A/B tests configured and run. Hosted reports and dashboards.
Daily recaps and alerts in Slack, a live creative dashboard, weekly briefs and iteration ideas for your editors, statics filled from your templates, timestamped QA notes on the Frame.io file, ad names applied in Google Drive, ranked creator lists in Sheets, Notion, or Airtable, and ads launched into an ad set when you ask.⁵
Marketing tools included
Apollo, Clay, Crustdata, PredictLeads, DataForSEO, Exa, ad intelligence, TrendTrack, Brandfetch, and email sending arrive with the subscription. 2,300+ integrations cover everything else.
Motion's creative data: millions of tagged ads, benchmarks, and a creator index. Everything else is your own stack, connected: Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Northbeam, Google Analytics, Google Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io, Notion, Asana, Klaviyo, Shopify, and more.⁶
After it ships
Kite tracks traffic, conversions, opens, replies, and AI citations for what it shipped, reports what changed, and turns the result into the next task.
Routines re-run on their cadence, alerts recommend scaling, pausing, or reducing spend, and the iteration finder proposes edits to winners. Corrections you make stick in the shared brain.⁷
Memory
One shared knowledge base for the whole team: positioning, brand voice, customers, competitors, and the result of every piece of work so far.
One shared brain for the whole team, on your own machine's file system: brand context, saved preferences, and past decisions. Nothing lives in a private chat.⁸
Setup
Add Kite to Slack. It runs its analysis of your business and returns with a plan.
Book a guided setup. Motion stands up your machine and pre-loads your ad data, you connect Slack and your accounts, then you teach it your standards.⁹
